The Longest Set of Keyboards

The last time I swapped out my keyboards was when Allison was just born. It was something doable at night, in between the night feeds. I had to be awake enough, so it was a fun thing to keep busy with.

But now that Allison is getting older and she has requires a lot more attention, it’s really been some time since I’ve worked on my keyboards at all.

It’s not that I don’t use them, I still swap around keyboards whenever, but the set of about 8-9 keyboards have remained the same. At current state, I think the most I can afford to swap out would be hotswaps. I don’t think I’ll have a good 3-4 hours at a shot to desolder and resolder a full board right now.

It’s really making me question if I should start selling some of my keyboard collections… but probably not. Allison loves keyboards! Good enough reason for me to hold out until she’s old enough to understand what typing really means.
