WHAT A WORLD WE ARE IN!
My baby is sitting on my table and i am writing this!
Okay she has gone back to the day bed for her post milk nap.
A lot of people have been asking me what life is like with the baby, and the honest answer is that it’s just really tiring. It’s another human being who can’t do most humant being things. Everything from sitting up to taking a poop, it’s brand new to them and I’m the one walking them through everything. It’s intense, and it’s always on.
Like now she just let a cry go, and I’ve learnt not to always respond, because she might be having an intense dream. Dreaming is also something we take for granted, like knowing how to manage yourself when you wake up from a dream. Can you imagine not knowing when a dream stopped and when it’s real life? Babies might not necessarily know so well.
Anyway, enough speculation about dream state. It’s just a lot of things to do, and a lot managing the house as this kid grows up in it. Clearing up another person’s mess, but the person can’t even clear up their own mess. That’s nuts. But that’s baby life.
But there are many times when she’s so cute and the world is rosy. It’s been getting more frequent now, where she’s much easier to manage. But the first week was really the worst. The most nuts ever.
Glad to be here in week 6, and not back there in week 1. It was tough…
